Eva Funk is an artist based in Berlin. She was educated at the Berlin University of the Arts and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

Her artistic work centers on familiar yet often overlooked elements of my surroundings—stories, actions, and joy. She engages equally with questions of solidarity, space, and aesthetics. Her use of diverse materials and methods manifests in interventions, installations, and interdisciplinary projects. By reinterpreting elements of found environments, she explorse the relationships between object, image, and language. Her work encourages a playful re-evaluation of the social value of spaces, fostering a deeper appreciation for our complex interactions with the environments we inhabit.

Eva Funk am committed to collaborative approaches in co-creating experiential spaces and exploring new modes of learning and teaching. She was involved in projects and collectives such as Kiosk des Arts, rototo press, Mindscape Universe and BIG HIT.

She was Artist in Residence at institutions such as Cité internationale des Arts Paris, das fliegende Künstler:innenzimmer Crespo Foundation or PRAKSIS Oslo.
