tv-recommendation

TV- recommendation is a 19-part series of fabric collages with television recommendations. The individual objects were sent by post with a copy of a scan of a poem by Anne Carson to other artists as part of an exchange project.

soft soil

Soft Soil is a series of textile sculptures. The soft, compressed fabric bodies are held together by T-shirt seams and serve as a support for individual fragments of plants such as nettle, dandelion, magherite and gingko leaves. Here I am interested in a connection to the act of comforting and the ability to be adaptable and unruly.

soft pombas

“soft pombas” are textile sculptures that are based on the plump, solid body shape of the wood pigeon and could be used as cushions, balls or doorstops.

Initially conceived as an approach to painting, the shag rugs were created as narratives of landscapes and memorabilia. The assertion that the history of the carpet is a mostly female one is also considered. Parts of costumes from former performances and textile works are incorporated.
